There will be some rationalizing about how Can O'Korn was actually better during summer camp, and is more of an athlete in the pocket, and therefore they'll be better off.

As much as I would like to pile on, I recall us being in a very similar scenario two years ago and it worked out pretty well for us.

We also had a running back who would go on to turn into Superman while running behind maybe the country's best OL and carry the offense in our starter's absence. I don't see DeVeon Smith suddenly developing vision/ability or their OL suddenly becoming better than mediocre. I don't know that the drop-off will be significant, necessarily, but I certainly don't see the pieces to suddenly overcome the flaws that finally caught up to them. They're a flawed team that lost a flawed QB allowing another flawed QB to step in. Probably a wash.
