Beliein was a recruiting savant over his last several years. He would find the perfect players to build a contender with, unlike any other coach I've seen. Even Bo Ryan wasn't as good at it. It takes some time for a C coach to sink a ship that an A coach built, especially because a strong talent base was still around for the first couple of years. Beilein's players leaving and forcing any other coach to do the job in recruiting is a huge downgrade. Howard has to stand on his own merit now, and it's not looking good so far.

I'm getting Randy Ayers flashbacks. Took over Gary Williams' team and looked good for a couple years. Then it became his team and things went south in a hurry.

Just announced by the tsun athletic department - A Covid outbreak is scheduled beginning 11/23/21. Therefore all athletic department activities must cease and all games must be cancelled until 11/28/21. The health and well being of our student athletes must be our primary concern.
