the shot was decent, but i think he should have driven to the hoop. he can force a foul that way or have a better chance at tipping his miss.

But against Dook?

the big ten will experience a lot of attrition going into next season. m*ch*gan is well-positioned for a run, especially depending on who from osu departs. they should be about 38% from 3, which would make them very dangerous.
Figure you're probably right about that. They seem to be heading in the right direction if nothing else, and they are young. Not sure they are upper echelon yet, but they can play with about anyone now.

Yes he has, what's tough is our Jr's are least talented of the bunch. They both play hard, just no talent there. Novak plays harder then anyone, we got killed on the boards today. We need another big body!!

I agree somewhat. Novak and Douglass are the clear leaders of this team, but Douglass doesn't really give us much if his shot is not falling. Novak goes hard on both ends of the court, every second of the game. Both are still going to get minutes especially Novak, but with the arrival of 2 top 100 guards in Burke and Burbridge I expect Douglass's minutes to be cut back. Too me the key going forward is the development of Evan Smotrycz and Jon Horford. If those two take the leap I expect them too this off season, there is no reason this team should not compete for the Big Ten title and make a serious run in March. Great job by coach Beilein and his staff this year.

I think UM played tough down the stretch of the game, but if I am a UM fan, I am a bit pissed at Morris and his ball-hogging towards the end of the game. Not counting the missed floater to tie it at the end, there were at least 3 other instances in the last 2 minutes where he should have passed to the open man and instead tried to drive it himself and either missed or just lost the ball.

But, I am not a UM fan, so I really don't give a shit.

I don't know...I thought he had a great look at the end. Just missed it.

I really thought scUM was going to get blown out, so losing by two was a heck of an accomplishment. Not that I'm into moral victories, but at least they fought back and made it competitive.

Wow, remind me to never talk nicely about those guys again..it makes me feel funny all over.
