That being said, despite what the national media and other fan bases say, Tressel's reputation has to count for something. It seems clear that Ohio State tries extremely hard to work with the NCAA as closely and cooperatively as possible. That has to count for something.

I agree to a certain extent. True Tressel does have a very good rep around the NCAA but there were rumblings about wrong doings at Youngstown ST. Not saying that will have any factor into it at all but you never know. Also Troy Smith & Maurice could influence a little. So while you guys are cooperating, other things will factor into this. Without getting into the whole email/lying thing, there sometimes comes a point when you say enough is enough & end up getting nailed for your actions.

One thing I think is laughable at this point is his 2 game suspension. Of course maybe as I've had discussions with other OhST. fans, maybe he is taking the fall for school. Maybe he did give those emails to someone. That of course opens up a whole new can of worms.

Laughable is losing at home to fucking Toledo.

Laughable is rushing the field after beating Illinois.

Laughable is what scUM football has become.
