Our church has no bells.
Just released here. It ain't a chick flick, but under the guise of a Shakespearean love story I was able to get out of seeing Casanova and got to see a middle ages drama that was like Braveheart without all of Mel Gibson's incessant whining. Phenomenal heterosexual sex afterward, too. Good date movie.

I have misplaced my pants.
I always thought it was Ysolde. We had to read the story back in high school. If memory serves me right (there's always a first time), it ought to make a pretty cheesy chick-flick. But directors can always use their "artistic license" and change it enough to make it so dudes could live through it.

There was more violence than love and the love part wasn't as cheesy (to me) as that in Braveheart. The battle scenes weren't as epic as BH, but they struck me as more authentic because they weren't done on a grand scale.
All I'm saying is that if you want to see a good action movie, you can slide this one right by the significant other. "Honey, look, a new Shakespearean love story..." You get sexual karma points for making the effort to see something that she would enjoy, you get to see a violent middle ages movie, and it's not your fault when it doesn't turn out the way she suspected.
