It always has been.Oh8ch;1758594; said:Jeesh - now half the Department of Justice logo is in Spanish.

We had trick or treat in our town last night.
Point of order: Halloween falls on Saturday. Ohio State plays at 7:30. I will NOT be handing out candy to anyone or paying any attention to the door whatever.Maybe they'd get a better turn out if they had Halloween on Halloween and not the week before?

It has always been that way in some communities in and around Akron. No clue why, but quite a few towns have it on the Sunday before for some reason apparently behind my scope of understanding.Well obviously.
I was referring to the town elder geniuses where he lives. I mean Christmas parade participation is going to suffer if your board of PTA/Helicopter moms decides to hold it in August.
Had the same problem here (though our houses are spread out so it's an inefficient route for candy... and telemarketers). We had trick or treat in our town last night. It was a total of nine kids over a two hour period.
The weather was perfect but this is the lowest turnout since I lived in an apartment at the end of a dead-end road years ago. I watched my neighbor walk to the end of his driveway just to give away their full size candy bars as people would walk by. Toward the end I was hoping one kid would come to the door so I could give him or her the rest of the candy. But no visitors the last 30 minutes. Guess I will be eating Halloween candy through the new year!
