m*ch*gan tears give me power: link.
I don't even know what UM fans perceive as reality. There is nothing positive going for their program. They have to hope for a solid season in 2010 to even begin to sell something to recruits. They are simply competing with too many better and hotter programs. They should be hoping for mostly middle of the road Big Ten caliber recruits and the occasional UM legacy type recruits. Rebuild their character, then worry about the overall talent.

And hopefully DePriest picks the good guys here.

Talks about him, braxton, and alabama.:(
and the sad face is because of what exactly? did depriest state that he likes alabama more than he likes ohio state? no, he did not. all i read is that braxton and he "could" go to the same school together. could. i wouldn't get so depressed about a recruit's use of the word "could."

also, braxton is currently much more keen on ohio state than depriest is on alabama, and i highly doubt that one recruit's decision will determine the other's. they're blue chip players who don't need a package deal in order to attend a top program.

Fear mongering!! I am sure the Bleacher Report has no idea what they are talking about other than speculation. Just statistically speaking, how often do blue-chip prospects leave Ohio for another school across the country when they have offers from Ohio State and regional power-house schools? Not often. Now, how often does that happen twice, which is what would happen if Braxton and Trey leave for Alabama. Its just very, very unlikely...

Words can't describe my disdain for the facade that is BleacherReport.com

It's not an article, let alone a report. It's a random fan, usually one with no credibility (because he adores or despises the described individual(s) or team(s)

To be quite clear, see Wade's rules of package deals...they rarely happen, no matter how much it is brought up. The two are great friends and would love to go to the same school. However, it is MUCH more likely that they do not at this point. That article was pure speculation based on two facts: DePriest really likes Bama and he is good friends with Braxton. That does not equate to a package deal. I am still as confident as ever that Trey heads south and Braxton picks the good guys. Only real development is both are probably waiting longer than was originally anticipated.

BN $ - DePriest Taking Inventory

4/14

By CrimsonConfidential...grew up a Michigan fan but Alabama, Ohio State and Notre Dame are recruiting him the hardest...says he an Braxton could play college ball together...talks about his interest in Alabama and why their staff is interested in him.

Alabama fans are setting themselves up for disappointment if they think they are landing both Braxton and Trey...
