Tressel to Baldwin-Wallace Hall of Fame

AirForceBuck

No mercy
From todays Dispatch:

Coach Jim Tressel will be inducted into the Baldwin-Wallace College Athletic Hall of Fame at a banquet tonight in Berea.

Tressel, Class of 1975, is a former quarterback at the school, where his late father Lee was its winningest coach. Jim Tressel was asked jokingly whether he was being inducted for his quarterbacking skills.

"No," he said, laughing. "In fact, my teammates that were there will wonder why I’m being honored. I’m sure it has to do with some coaching wins."
Tressel has videotaped an acceptance speech. His brother, Dave, will accept on his behalf.
"It’s an honor," Jim Tressel said. "I grew up there. Heck, maybe (the induction) is because I was a paperboy in the dorms. You add all the things together and maybe that’s why you make the Hall of Fame."

Congrats to Coach Tressel. Im not sure if hes already inducted into the Youngstown State Hall Of Fame, but Im sure he will after 4 championships. When Tressels tenure is up at OSU, Im more than confident that he will be set up for Hall Of Fame with OSU as well.

Well, that explains why the Union was shut down when I went to go get a bite to eat. Too bad Jim cannot be here tonight.... what's this game thing going on tomorrow again? Illinois??? Ah, well shucks, I would've liked an autograph.

Congrats to JT. He's a great man.
