This is sort of a spin-off of my Want a NC ring? Play for Tressel thread from last summer. After going 1-3 in his first four post-season games (I-AA playoffs), since 1991 Jim Tressel has gone a staggering 26-3 in the post season, including a run of 15 straight I-AA playoff wins, five consensus national titles, and two national runners-up. With the possible exception of the coach of Mount Union, I can think of no one who has so completely dominated the post-season in college football like Tressel has.
Toss in his 4-1 record against Michigan (which is our annual "regular-season post-season" game), and he's a mind-boggling 30-4 in "big games" since 1991. I don't know about you, but there's no one I'd rather have holding the clipboard on the sidelines for me...
