It'll take you an hour and a half to two hours get to Columbus from Cicny. I'd imagine that the roads will be packed to capacity by the time you make it to campus... which should be around 4:30 or 5:00 and you're gonna have one hell of a time finding a place to park.

Not to be a dick, but MapQuest, Google maps, yahoo maps......any of the above can give you driving directions and travel times.

Now, to try to be somewhat helpful, I would budget 3-4 hours. Cincy to Columbus is normally a 2 hour drive, but by the time you get out of the airport and then through gameday traffic in Columbus, it'll be 3-4 hours.

Considering the construction that is on 71-75 through downtown Cincy and being the airport in actually in Covington, Ky, it will be most likely 2 1/2 to maybe 3 hours depending just to get to the South side of Columbus. Then traffic will be heavy down to Campus and parking will be a nightmare. But with 6 hours you really should be fine, depending on how much you want to tailgate and such.

Am flying into Cincinnati at 2:00 Saturday for the UT game. How long does the drive take on game day? Can change schedule if need to. Any help appreciated.
Earl,

Just to be safe, I would go ahead and fed ex the tickets up here ahead of time, just in case there are problems with the airlines, or lost baggage, traffic, or anything. Send them to me, I will hold them for you, and just in case you have a flight get cancelled, or delayed, and do not make it up in time, I will sell them for a huge amount of money for you (you could give me 10%) If you make it on time, I will meet you in front of the stadium and give them back to you.

My name is Bernard Rubble, send me a PM and I will get you my address, or contact info.

It won't take long to actually get into the stadium. Once you're in line at a gate, even with tight security, it will be, AT MOST, 15 minutes. More likely it will take less than 5.
thanks for the information. other people have said that it would take a while to get in but this is really good to know. still dont know where im going to park but that will be solved come sept. 10:)

I think that some are getting a little carried away bro. I would possibly think about getting an earlier flight in....and possibly one into Columbus. Traffic will be shitty, but then again it always is in Columbus. If your willing to walk 15 mins to the stadium you'll be cool.

I advise you to get there early just so you can have some time to absorb a very lively gameday atmosphere.......especially for this one.

Clevbucks is right the garages are the way to go if you arrive somewhat early. The fields right off of Cannon Dr. usually have room as well. (71-to-315-to-Goodale ave exit-to-Olentangy river road -to-King Ave.-to-Cannon Dr.) Goodale exit is a little tricky just remember keep turning right every chance you get til your on Olentangy.

Many thanks, Cleve, Daddy and Renard! I'll check out garages & Cannon.

Had to fly into Cleveland Airport as Columbus Internl all booked...we are using Frequent Flyer mileage which limits selection.

Hope to depart Cleveland early on 10th to get to Columbus by noon/1p.m. for parking for game.

Thanks again!
