Hahaha, yeah...

I downloaded the Transformers movies and all the episodes. When the movie started out in a booming voice with the words "It is the year two-thousand and five..." I lost it. My roommates comment: "Huh, I didn't realize it was a historical documentary..."

Actually there updated Transformers a few years ago with more computerized graphics. I believe that cartoon is still going, but I can't bear to watch with the ugly new stylings.

i have had this movie since i was very young, i rewatched it the other week, and youre totally right! the dialogue was horrible! haha! oh, t'was so better many a year ago...

I was going to start a thread about the Transformers movie, but I found this. Maybe a mod can rename it to just Transformers The Movie or something like that.

Anyway, I was not real excited about this movie until I have seen more of the actual previews for the movie and not just the trailers/teasers. The effects look incredible. I was such a huge Transformers fan when I was a kid, I had quite a few of the toys and I actually still have a few and my oldest son plays with them now. I can't wait to see the movie it looks like it is going to be incredible.

I hadn't seen this version before with Optimus Prime's transformation, including the sound from the cartoon.

i won't lie when i first heard this movie was coming out i thought it was going to be a monumental joke and disaster, but the more and more i watch the previews the more i am liking it. not to mention there is yet another hot girl acting in the movie with the guy from disturbia who also had to work with another hot actress......lucky bastard. but so far i have been impressed how well they have translated the story into a movie with such detail. i just hope it doesn't disappoint like i originally thought.

My favorite part of the trailer: Starscream's transformation from robot to jet and jet to robot in mid-flight, plus the complete absence of Starscream's incompetent, whiny voice like in the cartoon.
