WTF happened to the original story? Like the crash landing on Earth. The millions of years buried in a mountain. Are they just going to completely disregard the story line of one of the most popular cartoons that all of us 30+ year olds remember? I already hate it.

The worst violators to me have been Starship Troopers & I Robot.

WTF???? Iron I am right with you about being pissed off about changing that part of the story. Really it will seem like every other disaster film about Earth being attacked and then being saved. So much better when they were already amongst us.

Now that they are ruining Transformers which one is next, Voltron or a real action GI Joe movie?

I'm only 23, and I remember the story line.

I was pumped when I opened this trailer a week or two ago, but definitely felt left down afterwards.

The live action Transformer movie all of us 30-something males have been begging for since the mid-80s is finally coming, and half the posts in this thread are people bitching about the plot changes.

It's like Lucas editing Episode 4 to have Greedo fire at Han first. Us 30-something males view the original as sacred.

God, we're pathetic. Fucking awesome!

I wonder if/when a female will actually post in this thread?

Thank goodness "boys" rule Hollywood. I get to drag my wife to X-Men and Transformers movies, and I don't have to reciprocate by going to any crap like Care Bears or My Little Ponies movies. :p
