Too bad 789 isn't still around. You two would have a lot to talk about.

Blazers win in double OT tonight against a feisty (sarcasm) Memphis team. Z-Bo almost nets forty on an efficient night from the field (sarcasm).

Oregon, I, too, am a Blazers fan and I think the future is bright. My biggest concern is Martell. Your opinion on Mr. Webster?

Hot damn, so they are out there! Exciting game. Nice bounceback after that debacle in Houston on Friday. Never thought I'd see the Blazers score 135 points, even if they were given 2 overtimes.

Not really sure of what to think of Webster. He doesn't really do anything special. He's clearly a great athlete but he doesn't post up, have a consistent shot, take it to the hole, or play great defense. I thought he was supposed to be much improved but I haven't seen it. He's still very young though. Jermaine O'Neal wasn't great right off the bat either.

What a night! Portland, Ohio St., and Oregon all played games down to the wire.

My biggest concern with Martell isn't his ability, I think he has above average athletic ability (solid rebounder) and is a great shooter (39% from 3). I'm more worried about his attitude. There seems to be little improvement between last year and this year. He seems to sulk quite a bit, which is disconcerting, while also understadning, coming from a young player (only twenty).

I'm also concerned about Joel. He played his best game of the season against Memphis, but then again that isn't exactly a strong Memphis team. He can't stay out of foul trouble and appears a bit hessitant. If Joel can step up and we can get some value for Magloire at the trading deadline I'm be especially excited about the future.

Yeah, I think Webster doesn't bring enough intensity which can happen when you ride the bench so much.

Do you know why Magloire is getting more playing time than Aldridge? I like what I've seen from Aldridge. He's athletic and versitile. Magloire just seems to lumber around out there.

I think you mentioned the reason Magloire is playing more minutes than LA, he's better at throwing his weight around. Lamarcus scores a good deal of his points on his jump shot, where as Magloire scores his points on ugly shit in the paint. I think Nate justs wants more of a classic Center out on the floor.

Good point.

Blazers lost in OT to Phoenix last night, 109-102.

Portland pwned Washington today, 94-73. Arenas scored only 9 points on 3-15 shooting while Aldridge had 18 points and 11 rebounds on 9-13 shooting. They've now won 22 games, passing last year's win total.

I was so glad to see this after Arenas guaranteed he was going to go for 50.
