What happened to my ¤cash?
Since each of the players have their own threads it's a bit difficult to have a single discussion regarding the play of the true Frosh. Thought I'd start a thread dedicated to tracking their development.

I watched most of the game on PVR delay today while doing some electrical work so I'm going to have to go back and rewatch. But I did see some things that I really liked.

My thoughts:

Brewster: I thought that he looked great. He definately impressed me with his defensive reads and calling things out on the line. I can't remember exactly which series it was, but he was pointing things out like a three letter winner.

JB: Good God. What in the world do they feed that kid? Again, he looked well beyond his years. I'm going to go back to watch his work a bit closer. Hope to have more to say, but from first impressions, he looked great.

Adams: Also looked good. One play sticks out in my mind for him though. I think that YSU overloaded his side and someone got around him to the QB. Again going to have to go back and look a bit closer. Otherwise, seemed like a very solid performance.

DeVier: Nice routes. Not sure that I've seen many frosh play at that level. He looked great. Really looking forward to watching him develop in time.

TP: Was a shame that his first drive ended in 3 and not 6. Otherwise, seemed very efficient throwing the ball. I liked the TP / MW combo. To be honest, I had some doubts that he'd be ALL THAT as a freshman... glad to say that I'm beginning to rethink some of those thoughts. I just really thought that he'd need more time to develop. He's definately got some room to grow... but wow. The TD run looked effortless.

Others: As I said, was watching the game while not trying to pop circuits so my attention was a bit lacking. I'm going to have to go back and rewatch the game to pick some stuff up...

Would love to hear what the rest of you all thought.

(Mods: If you'd rather that this be removed in favor of keeping discussions limited to each player's threads, please feel free to remove).

I honestly thought the second string Oline was more cohesive than the first..

Brewster and Shugarts really stood out to me.. I recall the Adams play, there was a blitz coming from his side, and he took the inside man, and the guy came unblocked and hit our QB..

Not sure what he could have done though, that was probably something the QB needed to see.. and shift his RB over to block the blitzer..

But overall, very nice.. it says alot that Brewster has come back from his injury and his gettin those heavy snaps at center.. same with Adams at LT.. As for Shugarts, i truly feel he'll be our starting RT next yr if not this yr at some point..

Browning had some issues today, and I think in the future he's better off at guard
