5 Buckeyes are already off the board, but a lot more are hoping to hear their name on Day 3.
It’s been a good haul for Ohio State thus far in the 2018 NFL Draft, with five Buckeyes getting drafted in the first three rounds — making it 38 total draft picks in Urban Meyer’s six seasons in Columbus. The three-round total is also the most for any school so far in 2018.
Saturday’s final four rounds will get underway at noon ET, and there’s still plenty of Buckeye talent left on the board. Some of the top names still available out of Ohio State include OT Jamarco Jones and DE Jalyn Holmes, plus some guys expected to go near the end of the afternoon like QB J.T. Barrett, LB Chris Worley, SAF Damon Webb, and TE Marcus Baugh.
We’ll be keeping track as more Ohio State alumni make their way to the NFL, and will follow-up with all of the fun undrafted free agent news.
Here’s everything that’s happened ahead of Saturday’s final rounds:
Buckeyes picked in Round 1
No. 4 - Denzel Ward, Cleveland Browns
No. 21 - Billy Price, Cincinnati Bengals
Buckeyes picked in Round 2
No. 64 - Tyquan Lewis, Indianapolis Colts
Buckeyes picked in Round 3
No. 73 - Jerome Baker, Miami Dolphins
No. 77 - Sam Hubbard, Cincinnati Bengals
