How can our ST be number one. That is unrealistic. We dont return either Kicker.

As is our LB group being that high. They have played sparingly. They may have potential...but so does every other group int he nation.

This will be a down year. How many times has a team had more wins than the number of returning starters? Thats a good trivia quesion. This D will struggle early and we will ned up 8-4 or so. We have a tough schedule.

Keep in mind that the return game counts as special teams. We have the best return man in the nation in TG. JT always turns out solid kickers and coverage guys as well. We spend more time on special teams than any other team. I see our punt and kick coverage being just as good as last year. Our field goal kicking slightly worse than last year and our return game being better than last year with Gonzo and Maurice Wells in the mix. Hopefully we won't rely on field goals as much this year. Hopefully Beanie and Pitt can punch it in the endzone on the ground more often this year.

I forgot, and I cant beleive I did . i was thinking that guy who could not make it as a kicker at BG was our kicker last year. We do have a solid punter and TED Ginn is the man as a KR. One of the nations best. I hope that Gonzo can pick up where Holmes left off.

You're right, your belief won't be the same as the vast majority of fans on this site... that being said, Oregon hit it on the nose (in less words)... this team has a wealth of talent, they just need to get some experience. Talent and hard work will make up for some of that lack of experience... and with our offense this team will be 10-2 at the very worst.

The offense this year will be as be far better at the start of the season than it was at the start of last season. The first-half-of-last-season offense was why we lost our two games...we won't have that problem this year. If this year's defense is 85-90% of last year's, we could very well run the table.
