I realize you're conditioned to expect one seeds given your favorite team, but this team has proven pretty emphatically that they are not one.
And if you're going to sub in this team for Kentucky, you have to realize that or you'll miss the entire season. This isn't anything like the prime oden or sullinger teams that were on par with the blue bloods. This is a scrappy team that punches up, and does so in such dramatic fashion that the regression down the stretch is painful.
They are who they are.
Which is what makes yesterday's gritty win even more impressive, particularly without young to bang down low in a severe mismatch. They are who they are at this point, and digging out of a hole to keep that 2 seed is quite an accomplishment.
And they may just sweep the b1g tourney despite those flaws.
