Maybe the biggest gripe I have this season is we allow the game to go at the pace the other teams want.

Every team wants to hold onto the ball and kill clock. The defense needs to do better on third down to get off the field yes.

However, the bigger annoyance is the offense plays into things by also going slow. We are constantly going for 3rd and 4th downs because we are working inside 15 yards and we are showing no tempo.

Yes we can’t give the ball back quick but if we get a first down I’d like to see the offense move. Stop snapping the ball with under 10 seconds on the play clock. Especially since we aren’t taking many shots down the field
