tOSU vs. Iowa, Sun 1/12 @ 1:30p ET, CBS

I think that Ohio State's major opportunity is to frustrate them by dictating the pace of the game. As OHSportsFan says, they are among the fastest uptempo programs. They are a very balanced team ranked in the top 20 on offense and defense by Pomeroy; they like to run and gun. The Buckeye backcourt is a nightmare scenario for them, if Ohio State takes control early. On the other hand, if Iowa dictates the pace, Ohio State may not be strong enough on offense to keep up with them. Iowa held below 70, Buckeyes by 6.

Plus, they gun three's on the break a ton. I think Ohio State's transition defense is important today, as it always is.

Just wish the three-point shooting could get shored up or at least improve (show some consistency).

As we near the game, I really have no clue how to call it- would be pleasantly surprised if the Bucks frustrate the Hawkeyes and just run them out of their own game, but I honestly think it's possible.

The safe bet for me, though, is this will be a close one, in the 70s.
