QB Nate Sudfeld suffered a separated shoulder in the 2nd Q of the Iowa game Saturday. It's just been announced he'll require surgery and miss the rest of the year. Tre Roberson transferred to Illinois St in the spring so IU will be down to their 3rd string QB.

RB Tevin Coleman however is blowing up; put up 217 yards on Iowa.

Amen on Tevin Coleman....guy is arguably playing the best at RB as anyone in the country.

6 games, 120 attempts, 1060 yards for a 8.8 YPC with 11 TD's. Hasn't had a game for less than 122 all year. 6'1, 210 and only a junior....if he stays healthy he could end up the all time rushing leader at the school. Sudfeld being out does hurt him a bit, they were having a pretty potent offense there with them and Wynn.

Actually the passing game has been surprisingly terrible, which makes Coleman's efforts even more impressive. As one who wasted a draft pick on the talented speedster from Glenville, I have a wealth of knowledge on that topic :lol:

It is entirely possible this game could be played in a snow storm again

This is for Friday the 21st....no matter what happens it will definitely be cold and I'd say there's a decent chance for snow on Saturday on the backside of this storm - if it develops.

attended Indiana at Rutgers

this will be:
1) a massacre
2) a time to rest people

Indiana has an extremely talented back #6 (Tevin Coleman)-247 recruiting scouts missed big on this kid
but basically they have one running play - RB hits the guard/tackle gap then he reads the OLB
OLB inside - breaks it outside
OLB outside - runs right down the seam
OL does open up holes; #6 has wheels

No passing game
Starting QB has a bad left wheel; backup panics
WRs drop easy passes

Special teams: good punter, not good kicker; very poor coverage; we'll return a kick for a TD

Noon kick-off for this game.

Against Rutgers yesterday, Indiana's Tevin Coleman rushed for 307 yards on 32 carries. His performance was overshadowed by Melvin Gordon's record-setting 408-yard performance, but this kid is really good. The Buckeyes' rush defense better tighten up this week or they will have a tougher time than expected against Indiana.
