Game Thread tOSU @ Rutgers, Sat 10/24 @ 8pm ET, ABC

Jesus. Wife just read me a Facebook post from a middle school friend of hers. 7 year old daughter in ICU from the OK State parade today.

I wouldn't be opposed to raising penalties for DUI's to something people might actually be concerned about.

I know too many people who've died or been seriously injured in accidents caused by a driver under the influence.

The penalties are pretty serious... problem is you can basically pay a lawyer to make them go away or extremely reduced.
Its a broke system... but then how else are scummy lawyers going to make easy fees?

Agree. Been LEO in tidewater area of Va 10 yrs now and see horrible DUI related accidents almost weekly. Usually multiple offenders. Getting ready to go in now. Early lunch break should get me through the game. Good to be shift Sgt.

That's the thing. We were talking about it here hoping that Oklahoma's laws have something more than a couple years in jail. Prison for a long fucking time. Unfuckingreal.

Wifey said people were setting up facebook pages to support the dui chick? WTF?

One of the very, very few times I'm glad Gatorubet isn't around. I can only imagine the length of his rebuttal.
