Ohio State is a "Penn State stripe out game", whatever that is.

The Nittany Lions hold a 9-8 record in White Out games since its inception in 2004.
The Nittany Lions are 5-1 in Stripe Out games all-time.

Year-old article about the effects of a white out on a lot of factors, including points scored for each team, penalties, turnovers, etc.
The only thing that I find interesting is that the article says that the white outs tend to benefit Penn State on penalties - both in yards and in number. (I think it says that the penalties aren't always more, but more often than not.) Of course, more can be involved than just the white out - the fact that Penn State is a better than average Big Ten team should play a role. But I think they addressed that.
Anyway, the biggest point is that I always thought that Penn State gets boned by the referees. To say that they EVER get a benefit from the referees is spitting in the face of all that Saint Joesus stood for.
