I was absolutely typing this about the 2nd quarter when I read this. All I can do is laugh.

It's like we are just better than everyone else so we out-athlete them in the first quarter then they adjust and the 2nd quarter is too close or we even give up some lead. Then halftime happens. So far this season, the opponent has done jack shit vs our starters in the second half and we've totally dominated. Let's continue that please. 28 points for us the rest of the way and none for them would be just fine by me. Pull heads from ass and get emotional on the field and beat these afronts to society.

Game plan going into this game was bad. PSU is relying on blitzing and letting OSU try and run on obvious downs. Not much creativity to start games lately.

Defense has gotten burned on fluke plays, but needs to be much better at stopping runs behind the LOS or for shirt gains.

Honestly I hate the tight formations with a TE/FB unless it's on the goal line.

Why pack everything in? We should be spreading teams out every play.

I was just thinking how they have a long history of playing tOSU much closer on the field than they do on paper.

It's a 4Q game. Most of the time the full game gets to the point where teams regress to what they are on paper. If Knowles and Day have a good half time, I expect thing to fall in line... but as you say... it will be a struggle, as it has typically been.

Fire it out the back of the end zone over any receiver’s head and they won’t call grounding. CJ hasn’t been doing a good job of reading the D. Getting blindsided from your right shouldn’t happen. Throwing into double coverage is bad. Not checking out of a run up the middle when they’ve got 8 defenders bunched up close the LOS was a recipe for failure. There’s a lot of blame to go around.
