A few pregame facts concerning the series....
1. After losing in 2004, Ohio State has won the last nine meetings by a combined score of 388 to 121, or 43.1 to 13.4 on a per game basis. During the streak, Ohio State has scored 40 or more points seven times.
2. Ohio State leads the series 64-14-1, for a winning percentage of .816, which actually isn't the Buckeyes' most dominant performance against the "original" members of the Big Ten. Ohio State owns the Indiana series with a record of 77-12-5 (.846 winning percentage) and the Minnesota series with a record of 46-7 (.868 winning percentage).
3. During the first ten contests (1913-1931), Ohio State held only a narrow advantage in the series. The Buckeyes won six games while losing four (.600 winning percentage), including three in a row from 1929 to 1931, which marks Wildcats' only three-game winning streak against the Buckeyes.
4. During the next twelve contests (1932-1943), Ohio State did only slightly better, posting a record of 7-4-1 (.625 winning percentage). The Wildcats won back-to-back games in 1940 and 1941, their second winning streak in the series.

The Buckeyes really started to pull away from the Wildcats from 1945 to 1963, when they won 13 of 17 contests (.765 winning percentage) and increased their overall record in the series to 26-12-1 (.679 winning percentage).
