We're never going to be able to run the ball consistently out of a spread formation unless/until we have a running QB.

And it's just not feasible to have a part-time power running offense to supplement the base spread offense.

That's interesting and I never thought about it. I figured we wouldn't need running QB to make the run game work but maybe I was wrong. Only time Day's been able to run the ball consistently is when Fields was here. At least so far.
