Certainly not trying to defend the fact the NW is terrible, but if you want to feel a little bit better, check on the NW-PSU game from 10/1. Similar conditions - probably raining harder but not nearly as much wind. They are a well coached team and Pat Fitzgerald is a heck of a defensive coach.

Absolutely, these conditions were perfect for NW. Doesn't completely excuse our play today but sometimes games like this happen.

I would say moderately fast actually just extremely awkward.

I think he’s hesitant because he doesn’t want to run. Wasn’t there a game last year when he ran with authority and determination? I’m thinking it was the Maryland game but I’m not sure.
