Yes, David Boston received money from both teams in 2004.

The figures are the total amounts that the player received in 2004; and it may or may not include a signing bonus. See website:

Example: Shaun Springs' figure ($10.91 million) includes a $10.25 million signing bonus. Next year his total salary figure will be significantly lower because it won't include a signing bonus, etc.

Speaking of money, I wonder how many players in the NFL (or other pro sports, for that matter) willingly take less money just to free up money in the salary cap so the team can sign more and better players? I'd like to think that if I were in that situation, I'd gladly take only $300,000 a year if that meant my team would sign a top-notch QB, or LB, or RB or whatever it might take to win a super bowl.

Of course, it's easy for me to say that from where I'm sitting. $300,000 a year is about a billion times what I make.

A: Doss is getting a colon cleansing as far as making what he's worth.

B: No position in the NFL has seen a general salary jump like corner has over the last 4 seasons or so. CB's are at an all-time high value and it shows with our stellar Buckeye products. If young Gamble & Clements keep up their pace, they will both see pay raises in the near future regardless of their current contracts. I know Gamble is already doing well, but 6 Ints and a borderline probowl season as a rookie will do serve him well in the near future (IMHO).
