tOSU at Rutgers, Oct 2nd, 3:30 ET on BTN

Two things from the game:

1.) Stroud was really, really good and the rest of the offense lived up to their hype. And the defense has improved way above expectations. They're finally starting to look like was we thought they would be like at this time of the year.

2.) Aside from three or four guys who are second string, our overall subs are really, really bad. After Stroud's last drive of the day (the first drive of the second half), we were outscored and essentially outplayed by Rutgers. We scored 52 points in the games first 35 minutes, but didn't even come close to scoring a point the last 25 minutes with McCord and Miller at QB.

It felt like Day was disinterested in doing anything other than running after the starters went out.

But the few pass plays do show why he was so adamant to stick with Stroud.

I'm expecting a close one. I'll buy into the defense when they do something against someone other than Akron. Especially knowing Rutgers will throw all sorts of misdirection and trick plays out there. Bucks win 37-31

Well, you got the "Bucks win" part right, I'll give you that.

This happened alot in 2019... for the life of me I can't understand why we don't continue playing our game? We were up 59-6 so why relent off of our play calling?

Calling 3x runs in a row does nothing for McCord so why not execute the game plan we set out to execute?
