Officially the highest scoring team in the country in the first quarter this year. That's a sweet accomplishment considering where this team was only a few years ago.

This is extremely significant. Taking Urb at his word, and as evidenced by play calling, tOSU definitely does not try to score as many later in the game.

To be honest,I don't think he will be this year. Even in the couple games he didn't play, he stays in the defensive meetings on the sidelines.

It's interesting to watch the whole O/D meetings that the coaches have during timeouts -- you can tell that some of our red shirts travel just for special teams purposes as they aren't part of the meetings. Guys who do take part include Corey Smith, Mike Thomas and Mike Mitchell.
