Good game except for like a 10 minutes stretch where the secondary just...didn’t feel like covering anyone after playing lights out in the first half. Offense dominated for the most part. Any miscues I chalk up to PSU having a pretty talented defense themselves. Still happy to get out with a 13-point win after the weirdness of last year.

There's still a lot to work on, but playing this big a game as the 2nd in such a fucked season...I'm quite happy with the results.

Fields is casually brilliant, the young WR corp is gaining reps and depth. Both lines played well and they still look like they're not that far in the playbook. It's not all going to come together at once. Hopefully the DBs and ST get their feet under them with more games.

PSU isn't great, but a 13pt win that was much closer than it should've been is.

This game was never close. It was never in doubt. Penn State is good enough to hang around two scores back. That’s all.
