I'm sure it's just worded weird but the taking Justin Fields off on his own cause he doesn't want him around the other QB's sounds weird...

I haven’t seen the quote, but it sounds reasonable. NFL teams are isolating 1 QB away from QB room in event there would be a Covid outbreak.

Look no further than Wisconsin which would be down to 4th string QB had they played.

Read the PSU player quotes and not to try and talk them up, but that Antonio Shelton kid gets it. Was asked about the Ohio State Penn State rivalry and he said "It's not a rivalry, we're not Michigan." Also said even though he's from Columbus the game isn't about him and that he has no vendetta against OSU.

With that out of the way, fuck the Pedster cultists, can't wait to wreck them in their own stadium with no white out to even out the disparity in talent.

then read the quote from the St X elitist prick about ‘i am not here to hang with Ohio State. i’m here to beat Ohio State’

maybe he should be there to beat Indiana..?

There is a possibility that Penn State will play like a top ten team this week. Who would be surprised to learn that they worked for months on the OSU game and laughed off Indiana until the week before? There also is the possibility that they hang with the Buckeyes in the first half and then mail it in when the game slips away.

One thing is for sure, they will see this game as their entire season.
Maybe Penn State's loss to Indiana is misleading, not only because they were looking ahead, but also because they actually mostly dominated the game, despite losing.

I didn't watch the Penn State/Indiana game, but some of the main stats look very one-sided in favor of Penn State. Penn State more than doubled Indiana's ToP (40:25 vs. 19:35) and total yardage (488 vs. 211). Rushing yardage was 250 to 41.

Indiana had a slight advantage in turnovers (3 to 2), but that doesn't include an Indiana turnover on downs late in the game that gave Penn State a short field touchdown drive. The only stat decidedly in Indiana's favor was penalties, of course, since the conference is against Penn State. But those stats above look like they should result in a multi-touchdown beatdown. Was this a game where Penn State was mostly dominant, but gacked it away with penalties, red-zone mistakes, and bad-situation turnovers?

Until proven otherwise I'll believe that this was a classic first-game aberration. And it happened in late October.
