You're looking at it in a perspective with which I don't disagree. You're looking at the scoreboard, yes that does look good, but it makes no sense to me that once again you just let them run all over you in the second half, especially when you've shut the run in the first half, and even worse, when it's clear as day they are going to run the ball. In fact no one is talking about this, but holy shit their last drive was so terribly called, they were running so well then just proceeded to crap their pants

Thankfully their OC outsmarted himself.

Part of that "Running all over" was both fatigue and missed tackles in the backfield. IT wasn't all scheme related.

Our D just held NoD to 14 points. That's pretty freaking good.
Yeah. This needs more run.

The Jim Knowles haters should be eating some crow tonight. OK… ND shanked a FG. But holding that offense to 14 while playing defense for what seemed liked 45 minutes was a hell of an effort from the D.

I love that Ryan called out that traitor Lou Holtz, and ultimately proved him wrong. But c'mon, Ryan, you were on your way to proving him right with about 3 minutes left. Let's continue on the rest of the season with that tough mentality that was necessary to walk this one off.
Yeah I don’t know that this was the game to cut a promo on. That’s more Oregon-Colorado territory.
