Ohio State has been playing good enough to win. The officiating has been horrific.

This isn't on the refs totally....bad angles, bad tackling, run blocking inside the 10 hasn't been good.

This is mostly on the players. Coaches can set the tone all they want, but if the players are going to play soft anyway, there's not much to be done. They can get new coaches and all that, and Ohio State is the graveyard of coaches so if you remove Day to "change the tone" you're likely going to fire a dude with less than 10 losses as a HC....but....it's on the players ultimately and what they want to do with it.

Why was UFM the ultimate motivator? The kids bought in.

It appears the kids aren't buying in to what Day is selling anymore. I don't think that's Day's fault as much as sometimes messages don't resonate despite being the right stuff.
