The Ohio State football coaching staff has selected its weekly award winners for outstanding play in Saturday?s 52-10 win at Minnesota.


Dan Herron, who rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown, was the offensive player of the week.
Linebacker Brian Rolle, with six tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, was the defensive player of the week.

Jonathan Newsome, who blocked a punt that led to a Buckeye touchdown, was the player of the week on the special units.

Justin Boren was named as the Jim Parker lineman of the week.
The Attack Force award on defense went to Nathan Williams, and the Jack Tatum award for the best good, clean big hit of the week went to linebacker Storm Klein.
