I think it’s too early to say that as an overall QB. Fields had 40 passing TDs and 1 interception, plus 10 rushing TDs, at the time of the 2019 Heisman ceremony and didn’t win it cause it was Burrow’s all-timer season. Somebody with Fields’ 2019 stats would win that award easily this year.

And I’ve never wavered on Stroud as the starter this year. I was the one complaining about ESPN’s preferential coverage of Bryce Young, as compared to Stroud, when many wanted Stroud replaced.
