There are plenty of people in Columbus who root for Michigan, or just hate the Buckeyes. I doubt it's any different in Phoenix.

You're correct, but almost all Phoenicians are ASU fans. Tucson is looked at as if it were the enemy.

For those of you who don't know, UofA used to be a bigger and better school than ASU way back in the day. UofA tried to stop ASU from becoming an accredited university. This is where the bad blood started.

They are definitely rivals, but we weren't discussing their rivalry. We were dicussing the mutual dislike between schools/cities. In my opinion there is a difference between talking rivalries and dislike. If you were putting them together as the same thing, then I can see where we are not making sense to each other.
