tOSU>ASU(And the Bucks won '97 Rose Bowl)

I've lived in AZ for 26 years, I am the youngest of 5 kids. All my older siblings and myself went to ASU so I've been going there since I was about 7 years old. My oldest brother played HS football with Randall McDaniel so we have always been into ASU football.

Arizona has had a pretty small population up until the last 10 years. This state has gotten populated by people from across the country, bringing out of state loyalties with them. My best friends are from Wadsworth, OH and have lived in AZ for about 8 years now. They are still Buckeye fans.

Until Arizona's new population has kids that grow up and become loyal to the local universities, you're not going to see that huge following like you guys have at tOSU or Michigan.

Not to be rude, but people aren't flocking to OH or MI and bringing in an influx of out of state loyalties. People from OH and MI grew up there and probably have deep roots in the state and school system. AZ doesn't have that.

ASU hasn't been that good of a team since 1996 and hasn't been consistently good in 30 years. That isn't a good mix for drawing in the number of people that a traditional powerhouse does. Mix in the good weather, party atmosphere and lack of a powerhouse team - these things draw people's attention elsewhere.

I'm just posting in this thread because this is where the elitist pr icks seem to be posting. And sometimes I like to pretend that I'm 1, 2.
