For all the criticism Evan Turner has received, he has been doing an impressive job handling the ball at the point recently.
Last night ET had only one TO, with 7 assists, and 3 steals.:tongue2:
OSU team turnover total vs. Iowa--5!

We really really need to work on our D, Almost every game we get pushed to defend the 3. That and rebounding. Last night it seemes that Iowa had 3 guys right under the basket and got the rebound countless times over our heads.
But we won and that's what counts. We played hard and managed to win in a tough situation.
Go Bucks.

The environment wasn't even that hostile; the place looked half empty. I think they were bored stiff the first 3/4 of the game.

It looked pretty full to me. What confuses me is the 10 foot space they seem to have between sections. Are people in Iowa really that wide that they cut down on the seats to make the aisles wider?

:) It's actually a really nice arena. I went there to watch them play the Buckeyes a few years back. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. That said, they never fill it up.

OK, maybe I'm wrong...from their official website:
Capacity crowds have been the rule rather than the exception at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Over 4.8 million fans have viewed games in Carver-Hawkeye Arena the past 20-and-a-half seasons. Iowa played 60 consecutive home games in front of sellout crowds and more recently had a streak of 41 consecutive sell outs for regular season games. The single game record of 15,570 was set against Indiana in 1987.
