ESPN likes the story-line of weak Big Ten offenses so much they've carried it over from football to basketball. Saying that they might get 8 teams in, and they could all be gone after the second round.

No kidding. His players are flopping their way to being in the 1-1 with 7 minutes left in the half, whereas OSU finally gets in the 1-1 with about 30 seconds left, and yet he still has the audacity to whine on the sidelines.

its like that every game they play. they play the worst brand of bball, foul every possession and then act like little babies if 1 call is made "against" them. fuck that damn school, the players, raccoon ryan, brett bulimia, bucky, madison, the students, the dean, etc....................................................................

My buddy and I are talking about how many more points we score when we don't play in the B10. You have to look at possesions per game and when you shoot in the shot clock etc. That argument is pointless the way they are making it.

That sentiment isn't parroted by everyone. Bilas has always argued that the league plays tougher defense and that it is usually reflected by Big Ten teams making good runs in the tourney and scoring well over their averages (example he loves to cite is the 06 team averaging ~68 ppg during the season, then blowing past 80 ppg en route to the Finals).
