I'm impressed with what I saw out of the team tonight. Really expected to win after they were up 5 with a couple minutes to go. A few bad turnovers at the end of regulation and OT, and obviously the two no-calls... Rough loss for tOSU, especially with how good a season sweep of scUM would look. I'm not optimistic for the Indiana game, but I do think it will be close. The young guys are developing much better than I ever imagined, and this team could honestly be a threat come March. We all knew that would be the case as long as someone other than Thomas could put up 10+ a night.

Tough loss, hurts OSU's chances to repeat as B1G champs - very thin margin for error the next 8 games. On the bright side, I think the loss will serve as a better motivator for improvement, as this team does still have room to improve. I don't think they are playing at the level they need to defensively and on the defensive glass in order to make a deep tourney run, considering the struggles on offense against good teams much of this season. Hopefully this loss will get the players to continue to improve. Amir in particular I think can do more on the D end and with defensive rebounding to help this team.
