Got back from golf in second period......(taped it though), and just sat there with my mouth open for the rest of the game. "Who are you guys and what have you done with my Buckeyes"? was all i could think of. I don't think I saw much of anybody play the kind of game they had exhibited in the past. No one. (I'm sure several will take offense to that statement).

I guess the same USC played last year after they squashed OSU in the coliseum then lost at Stanford (Oregon?) wherever......just flat. Great job to Purdue, points up to the 'on any given Saturday' to plagarize a quote. OK, build on it, finish strong, and next year will be the year. There's still plenty of enjoyable football left, and would imagine OSU will be a top 10 team before the bowl season.

:gobucks3::gobucks4: Nobody wins them all, and you've 'gotta learn to lose OK'. I imagine the players are feeling worse than we are......

do you know if your administration will be raising the prices on football tickets next year to replace the fields that you guys stormed I heard that the attendance at the game grew as the game went on

Ha, they probably will increase prices. The attendance at the game grew because the student section is notorious for being late to the noon start games.

...says the Monday morning quarterback. Coming into this game, OSU had covered the spread several times in a row, and a few of those spreads were bigger than this one (13.5) against teams that were better than Purdue (1-5 record coming in, with the only win against a MAC team, to go along with a loss to a MAC team). Furthermore, Tressel came into that game with a history of OSU showing up and defeating clearly inferior opponents.

Hindsight is 20-20, my friend.

Hindsight is indeed 20/20, but maybe this experience will make people think twice about things they think are a sure bet.

Thanks, hopefully we can continue the momentum, but we have been awfully inconsistent this year. The players' confidence has to be sky high though.
