my d/l seems to have froze up or something, it was going pretty fast (about 10 hours to d/l), now it's at 7 days... anyone know why it's doing this?
Mine plain stopped a few times last night, I just stopped the download manually and then restarted it and it worked again (resumed from the same place it was at), I had to do that a few times. I'm using BitTorrent for Mac though, so I don't know how it would work for what you are using.

I am done downloading and seeding at about 50 KB/s...

Great quality...that Woody speech to open is great. I am going to leave my ABC up and running over the weekend so others can download...

Shit, this is working better than I thought...

Anyone out there having problems? Anyone that has downloaded torrents successfully before but for some reason it's not working now? Anyone not know what the hell they're doing?

MSU and Alamo Bowl will be up tonight, and I guess from there people can start making requests. I don't have every game (actually the three games I'm posting are the only ones I have). But if you do have full games recorded on your computer and you want to know how to convert em to divx and torrent them shoot me a PM.

I'm putting together a little tivo computer (actually the parts came in today!), so when the season starts I can record the games, convert them to divx, and put them up on bittorrent within a matter of days (or hours) after the game.

Rocketman, great idea glad you got it organized and put it all together. As far as quality goes if all possible, and not a huge inconvenience to yourself, go ahead and improve it. I think the initial fear that it would take some time to download has proven otherwise, it sounds like most people are finishing up within a day. Therefore i think we can afford a bigger file size and longer download times to get better quality.

As far as requests go....

2002 Purdue. I lost it in my move to England. I also have both Fiesta Bowls if someone can send me a link to instructions to make a torrent file. I have never played with Torrent before. I usually use P2P.

my question is, CAN YOU DO THIS SHIT ON A MAC?

ANSWER.....Yes you can BUT You have to be Running sys. 10.3 or better
FAQ told me that i can do it with OS 9.x, but that i need MacPython. cool, so i get Python. now it says i can btdownloadheadless.py from the source.
gonna try it and see what happens...
too technical for me..

edit:
Then, if you are on MacOS X, drop "XVIDDelegate.component" into /Library/QuickTime, or if you are on MacOS 9, drop "XVIDDelegatePPC" into your Extensions folder and restart.

how do i do that?
i'm fucking clueless on this thing...

edit2:
Divx codec was already IN the Extensions folder, so... i guess it's in there?
this stream of mac-illiteracy consciousness thing is amusing...

edit3:
it always helps when you actually CLICK on the Xvid Codec download link...
man, i feel stupid...

If anyone has either game against ND in the 90's, I would love to see those again. I get so tired of hearing about Notre Dame around here. I love to remind them of these two butt kickings. Thanks

Edit:
Osustamm,
I'm with you. The first game d/l last night at ~ 85 Kb/s, the Alamo Bowl is going at about ~12 Kb/s. I should have the game before we play Miami (OH).
