I have about every game from 1999-2005 on VHS. If anyone is interested I can work on transferring those to DVD. :scum3:

You may have opened up quite a can here. If you really have all those games, and are able to convert and share, you are going to have many many happy people around here. You may have picked up a part-time job with that post :tongue2:.

Hey gang,

I should have told you that I'm on a business trip in Texas. I'll be getting home late Tuesday, so I'll probably be releasing the Wiscy DVD late this week.

cheers,

Holy McMoly!! Someone needs to get this guy the hookup! If we could somehow get all these season onto a DVD set!!!

I bet at VHS quality we could squeeze 2 games on 1 DVD.

I have close to every game dating back to 1994 and a few before that.

One of my favorites is 1993 Washington, Big Daddy's coming out party.
Penn State 1993, great first game between the new Big Ten foes.
BYU Bowl game following 1993 season, Raymont went for 235.

I also have 1992 Syracuse and Iowa, Robert Smith had a decent games in both. Herbie was the QB.

1991 Michigan State, Carlos Snow had a big game.

That's pretty sweet. How many on VHS? All? Can you convert? If you and THULL joined forces and made these available, the seeding possibilities would become endless over the years. Every week, seed that game, etc., so everyone gets every game. Am I OK? Checking pulse....whew

I have some basketball from the Jim Jackson era as well.

I also have some of his HS games.
I'd love to see the NIT game where OSU played OU in Athens (1986?). I was there courtside as a Bobcat student and that was one of the best sporting events I've ever been too.

OK, I have the 2001 UM :scum3: game on my computer, converted and edited - ready to go. I usually split these on to 2 DVDs to preserve the quality as much as I can. But that would take forever to torrent. Problem is, I'm not sure how to compress it to fit on one DVD. I'm working with iMovie3 and iDVD3 on a Mac G5. Any suggestions?

Can you compress it to a DIVX avi file of 1.5-2 GB? There's more value in small file size over quality, assuming it still looks good compressed. More people can get the game and the torrent gets distributed faster. Use the 2002 UM game as an example. That was a VHS to DVD rip that I got from a member here. The file was originally 6.5 GB spanning two DVD's. I cut the commercials out and compressed it to DIVX.

If you need help, PM me. I use both PC's and Mac's and might know of some programs you could use that'll help you out.
