See what some of the most sought after prospects in the country have to say about the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes.
After a game that went to double overtime last year, college football fans have been looking forward to the 2015 battle of the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes. The black out is finally here.
With all the attention towards not just the game, but Ohio State's new alternate uniforms, fans aren't the only ones that will be glued to the matchup; so will some of the top high school prospects in the country.
Land-Grant Holy Land caught up with the following recruits, and and had them break down their thoughts on Saturday's game:
2017 OSU commit Todd Sibley
Thoughts: "I'm excited to see the uniforms, and as always I want to see Ezekiel Elliott get some carries."
Prediction: Ohio State, 49-21
2016 PSU commit Blake Gillikin
Thoughts: "I want to see how the Penn State front seven play, and how they'll handle Ezekiel Elliott. Should be fun to watch all night. I also think that both teams really haven't played up to their full potential in any game this season, so I'm excited to see which team will come and this game more."
Prediction: "I think Penn State pulls out the upset here in a really close game dominated by defense. I think special teams will a huge factor in the outcome. Penn State, 24-21"
2016 WR Binjimen Victor
Thoughts: "I'm excited to see the matchup itself. From what I'm told it's sort of a rivalry game. I just want to see a great game."
Prediction: "I really don't have a prediction. I just want to see a great game, and pay very close attention to the offensive side of the ball."
2017 DL Cam Spence
Thoughts: "I feel like it's going to be a good matchup, and the game of the week. (OSU needs to) just play their game really. They have all the talent."
Prediction: Ohio State, 35-28
2017 DL Fred Hansard
Thoughts: "I'm excited to see what each team is going to do up front."
Prediction: "I'm not sure about a the final score, but it's going to be close."
2017 DB Jaylen Kelly-Powell
Thoughts: "I'm just looking to see Coach (Kerry) Coombs, and Coach (Chris) Ash do their thing on game day. How they coach, and how the players respond. I'm also looking to see my Cass Tech brothers do their thing. Hopefully Mike Weber will be ready to go."
Prediction: No prediction
2017 DL Eric Crosby
Thoughts: "They're both very good teams, and it's hard to choose one, but I think OSU will pull it out. They just need to start off fast, and come out fast after halftime and run plays that PSU aren't ready for."
Prediction: Ohio State, 47-38
2017 DL Jordan Williams
Thoughts: "(I think it's going to be) A very tough, and physical game. I'm excited to see how OSU will handle PSU's defensive pressure."
Prediction: Penn State, 28-21
2018 RB Jaelen Gill
Thoughts: "I'm excited to see those all black uniforms just like everyone else is. I've been anticipating this for a long time now. I'm also excited to see how the two teams match up since both are having lots of success this year, and went to double OT last season."
Prediction: Ohio State, 35-24
