Top 99 games of all time

halo 1 rocked. we used to play it constantly in LAN games on my floor. Halo 2 was much more of an arcade shooter... halo 1 rewarded skill.

it's one thing to have unusual games in the list for recognition of great games, but I would dare to say that many of those in the top 10-20 weren't played by many people.

most people played NES games. not everyone played games on playstations...

I didn't have a NES so I didn't play it except for maybe at a friend's house here-and-there. But even I can think of pre-playstation games that need to be on that list.


Guys don't give this list much credit. I mean come on, the list was sponsored by KFC.

San Andreas would be #1 on my list, with Madden 06 being in the top 5. but haha yeah i dont play a ton of video games but i think that San Andreas was an incredible game.

do you guys think that God of War was good enough to get in the top 6?

As already mentioned, a sham of a list, imho.

It's interesting that there is only one PC game in the top ten. Both gameplay and the ability to modify always influence my preferences. I suppose that is why I play consoles little. As someone touch on, include HL2 and omit HL? My theory is it shows the age of those who participated. CS was borne of modification. Perhaps it's they are only prone to console gaming?

I didn't go much farther than the top ten. I have to throw the Battlefield series out there.

The list sucked...I have about 20-25 of the games on that list and I don't think most of the games I have deserve to be in the top 50...except WoW, they put that in a good place
