I'll be honest with you, I think every year he beats Michigan he should get a One Million dollar bonus!

To answer your question, if he can guide the team to a perfect record and BCS championship, he should get a raise so he doesn't escape!

Frankly, I think JT should get a pay cut, because he ain't going anywhere, so it's just money down the tubes. Face it, we all know he'd work for at OSU for free.

Think how much recruiting would benefit if we applied that 2 million to something else, like really, really gaudy national championship rings that are bigger than Charlie Weis's fat fucking head.

You're kidding right? :yow1:
Really! Ferentz should make more. Haven't you heard? He's the best coach in college football today. It really takes someone special to mold a mediocre group of Iowa athletes into a team that routinely goes 7-5 or 8-4. Only legendary coaches can do that, like ... uh ... Hayden Fry.

The one that blows my mind is Petrino at Louisville.

That's big time money for a school that's just recently come from the ranks of the mid majors.

It was widely reported by the Buckeye news outlets at the time.

He has that option in his contract
According to his contract, Tressel may defer some of his salary to his assistant coaches and football administrators if he chooses.
Someone was asking about Carr's compensation package - it was valued back in 2003 at between $1 and 1.5 Million. Like Tressel he also shares the wealth - having a fund of $155,000 to distribute with assistants come July, wonder if English got his this last year. :)
