I can honestly say, as a father who has buried a child, that there is nothing more devastating than what the Dungy's are going through right now.
My situation was very different and pales in comparison to this scenario. My daughter was an infant and circumstances were beyond anyone's control.
Dungy was 18. That's 18 years that Tony has known, raised, and loved this child. The attachment is so much greater and for it to end the way it did, is just unimaginable.
What a crushing blow for a parent to hear their son has taken his own life.
I can't even fathom this happening to me. My heart goes out to this family. They will never be the same. Ever.
