He is a major turncoat but I don't think the Michigan people are going to get the meltdown they are expecting out of this.

He's been very up and down in the recruiting department and especially recently the development has been pretty meh, I know the OL has not been the best but the vision from our RBs has been pretty bad as well. He probably doesn't look as desirable if he doesn't automatically have elite backs at his disposal.

I believe reading rumors that he was possibly on the chopping block in January. This is weird timing and seems like a F-U for sure. Which suggests some recent drama.
