Our punter is going pro...I know I can't believe it....but that free's up #14 for JG....a punter leaving early is such a joke

Not only does Malone leaving free up a schollie for JG, stripes, it frees up a website-Heisman spot, also.

AJHawkfan Wanna make $14 the hard way?

A punter leaving early? That is a joke. What's he think it's gonna do? Move him up from the 3rd free agent signed to the 2nd one?

The only way I could understand it is if he was in danger of flunking out anyway, so this way he could save some face by "leaving for the draft"....yeah that's it.....the draft.

    i thought Gwaltney was a RB recruit....not a USC punter :roll1:

I guess it makes sense. He's probably not going to elevate his draft status by staying another year.

Maybe he's got Jim Brown advising him..........

For his sake I hope he is a smart kid and going to graduate this spring as a junior...

It's very hard for a kicker to stick in the pro's... he will need his college education...

stripes, in the Leinart press conference Pete said that Malone was coming back. But you were right about your QB.

For those who care, Tatupu (LB) is going pro.

Ok that settles it, no room for Gwaltney, he's ours

That's it, wstripes is no longer dependable. I would say banish him to Bucknuts, but that is just not right.

You are now on probation. One screwup quickly overrides all your great information over the years.

I'd take Tatupu in a heartbeat.. maybe not RD 1 unless I was low.. but he'd be on my radar

I know you're kidding on the banishing/probation, but stripes said he got that info from Malone's dad, so he was quite surprised today when Malone decided to come back. I'm posting that info here since it's on a thread that got moved, and as an infrequent poster he's likely not to update this over here in 'open discussion'.

methomps an imbecility, a stupidity without name

Malone's dad said he was gone, so if Pops doesn't know then I don't blame wstripes. Maybe Tom was on his way to Heritage Hall to declare for the draft when he passed this:

why would a track make him want to stay, jeesh it even has some dumbass woman just standing around on it. I would be a pain in the ass getting her to move out of your way every lap.
