Tom Brady doesn't do much losing on the field, but he has off the field recently when it comes to placing bets on Michigan, his alma mater.
Brady had a wager with Nate Ebner on the Michigan-Ohio State game this weekend, which Michigan lost 62-39. It will cost him a couple hundred dollars and he'll have to wear "some ridiculous outfit."
“Unfortunately, I lost a bet to Nate Ebner and already paid him his money," Brady said Monday on Mut and Callahan. "I have to wear some ridiculous outfit, but man, freakin’ Wolverines. They can’t win a big game, man. That was pretty crappy to watch.”
“We’ve lost to them so much," he added. "I feel like I never win any of these bets. That’s alright. I’ll keep trying.”
Ohio State has now won eight straight meetings, which is frustrating for Brady considering how big the game is and having Jim Harbaugh as head coach, who is still winless against Ohio State.
“It should be [the only game that matters]," he said. "Yeah, that is the big one. They haven’t been close. Maybe last year we were a little closer, but still 60-something points, that was tough to swallow. Maybe we can get to the Rose Bowl. I think if a few things go our way we get to the Rose Bowl. That will be a good consolation.”
When Brady was still in school, Michigan had a 3-1 record against the Buckeyes.
